It’s not often that we travel too far by car anymore. Travelling abroad by airplane is much more appealing! But in the current climate, its looking less likely that there will be a trip abroad this year and we are more likely to travel by car than ever before. So what can we do to make that time “fun” again?

Put together a great playlist

Now there has to be something for everyone on here – parents and children! The radio can become so tedious at times, hearing the same adverts over and over again..

So take some time to make a new playlist for each trip and in years to come when you hear a song from then, it will remind you of that time or place that you took the road trip to durning the Pandemic.

Play some car games

There’s something about playing car games that feels very nostalgic! They’re also a great way to engage with each other instead of silently scrolling your social feeds – and lets be honest, we all do it.

Stop for photos

You can see so much more when traveling by car so take advantage of that and capture those memories! I don’t mean stopping at a service station but just taking a moment to be aware of your surroundings and appreciate what is just off your doorstep is magical.

Do it safely
